Dani Cole November 30 2023

Inceptio Technology, a Chinese developer of autonomous driving technologies for heavy-duty trucks, has marked the delivery of its first batch of autonomous trucks to Yunyi Transport, an international express logistics company.

It is planned the vehicles will be deployed in China.

Yunyi Transport's order for 300 heavy-duty trucks equipped with Inceptio's technology represents the latest step in the large-scale commercialisation of autonomous trucks in China, Inceptio says.

The first batch of 63 trucks delivered to Yunyi Transport are "Tianlong" models co-developed by Inceptio and Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle and pre-installed with Inceptio's full-stack autonomous driving system.

Inceptio founder and CEO Julian Ma said: "Our record-setting delivery to Yunyi Transport marks a key milestone in the large-scale commercial adoption of our autonomous driving technology.”

"Leading express logistics companies increasingly recognise the benefits of autonomous driving,  and are racing to implement solutions that help them save on costs, improve efficiency, and maintain safe operations.”

Yunyi Transport provides express logistics services in China as well as southeast Asian countries including Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, India, and the Philippines.

The company plans to deploy the new autonomous trucks across its nationwide line-haul network in China.

Smart parking market expected to grow at a CAGR of 13.2% by 2030

Urbanization and population growth are the major drivers of the smart parking market as they have a significant impact on parking demand, traffic congestion, and the need for efficient urban infrastructure. Smart parking systems assist in optimizing the use of current parking facilities by providing real-time information on available spaces and decreasing the time and effort spent looking for parking. Automated parking systems and automobile stacking technologies optimize land usage by requiring less space for the same number of parked vehicles.
