
Xpeng has partnered with Plugsurfing, an European EV charging service provider, to offer its customers access to an extensive charging network.
The collaboration, unveiled by Xpeng chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng during the ‘Global Brand Night’ in Hong Kong, enables the company’s users to leverage over 940,000 charging points across 27 countries.
The partnership with Plugsurfing aggregates 500 charge point operators in the EU, providing Xpeng customers with an advanced charging network.
Plugsurfing’s coverage spans more than 85% of Europe’s public charging infrastructure, with plans for further expansion.
Xpeng’s integration of Plugsurfing’s Drive API into its in-car system and app ensures a seamless charging experience, including real-time station data, pricing, and remote charging capabilities.
Xpeng has tailored the user experience to meet European drivers’ needs, with features such as smart filtering, long-distance trip planning, and voice search.

The charging process, from initiation to payment, is streamlined through the Xpeng app or a Plugsurfing charging card.
New Xpeng owners receive a complimentary charging card for immediate network access, and existing customers can register in the app with an email and credit card.
The Plugsurfing agreement ensures users are billed only for actual electricity and parking costs, without additional fees.
Also, Xpeng has expanded into the Polish market last month, launching three electric vehicles: the G9 SUV, the G6 coupe SUV, and the P7 sedan.
Xpeng also plans to expand its XP Supercharging network outside mainland China by 2025, starting with installations at Hong Kong’s Lai Sun Commercial Centre and Convention Plaza.
