Wejo, the connected car data company, announced a partnership with automotive specialists Cosworth to identify and investigate intelligent mobility and vehicle data concepts which will help drive future innovations.
Cosworth specialises in propulsion and intelligence products for automotive, aerospace and marine industries and it claims "a leading position in the field of telemetry and telematics". It is a technical partner for Aston Martin on the Valkyrie hybrid sports car.
Cosworth products include AliveDrive, a camera, video, data capture and analysis app providing real time playback via the infotainment system.
Cosworth also specialises in hybrid and emissions compliant propulsion products.
Wejo connected car data enables customers and app developers to create products to help drivers.
Data provides real time information on the nearest available parking space to optimised road network signalling. Wejo has 18m cars on its platform receiving updates every three seconds, streamed through its proprietary technology platform ADEPT.
