The trade union at Renault owned Romanian car producer Dacia concluded negotiations with the management for a new annual collective labour agreement which includes a net monthly salary increase of EUR100 (RON475), Profit.ro reported.

The unions initially asked for a RON 700 pay hike, according to romania-insider.com.

Dacia employs 14,000 people and the gross average monthly wage is RON3,785 (about EUR800), leading to a RON2,080 (almost EUR440) average net wage. Under the new collective labour agreement, the minimum wage at Dacia will be RON2,550 (EUR530).

Dacia employees managed to get a salary increase of about EUR100, in two installments, respectively RON400 on the spot and RON80 later in October.

Employees in administrative positions will receive a bonus of RON1,600 (pending the full achievement of their targets), while the workers in the factory will receive a bonus of RON800 as well plus a special bonus of RON400 in September.

Some 150 fixed-term labour contracts will be converted into regular labour contracts under the provisions of the same collective labour agreement.
