Volkswagen is converting its Transparent Factory in Dresden into a production facility again with the new e-Golf to be produced from April next year.

The German automaker will invest more than EUR20m (US$21.2m) in the development of the Transparent Factory into a ‘Centre of Future Mobility,’  while in addition, Volkswagen Sachsen and Dresden recently agreed a partnership to foster e-mobility and digitalisation, aiming  to make Dresden a city for sustainable, integrated urban mobility.
