Volvo Buses is to launch a new express coach to supplement its 9000 range in 2020.
The new model is a double-decker with a body by Carrus Delta of Finland.
The 4.25m tall double-decker is known as the 9700 DD, designed primarily for the Nordic market.
When the new 9700 DD is launched, it will be part of Volvo’s product range for express coaches along with the Volvo 9700 and the Volvo 9900.
“With the launch of the 9700 DD we are taking things to another level and will offer a range of express coaches with several different versions for customers to choose between,” said Volvo Buses VP Coach Sales, Business Region Europe, Niklas Orre.
“Even now, ahead of the launch, there is already notable demand for the 9700 DD from our customers, which goes to prove the new model is highly attractive on the market.”
