Volvo Cars in the UK has introduced a new service allowing drivers to get their car cleaned via a mobile app.
Volvo Car Mobile Wash, initially available in the UK inside the M25, is being offered in conjunction with GoWashMyCar.

Drivers can choose when and where the car wash takes place, and do not have to be present for it, since they can unlock their car remotely via the Volvo On Call service.
The package includes a free car health check, covering tyre pressures and tread depth, a screenwash top-up, a coolant level check and a visual report on the condition of the bodywork.
Various levels of wash are available, as are additional services such as a body wax or eco-friendly water-minimising clean.
The simple booking process involves choosing and setting the location, fixing the date and time slot via the app calendar, selecting the level of wash required and any additional services – for example, a body wax or eco-friendly water-minimising clean – and confirming the booking. Prices start at GBP22 for a simple exterior wash; the most popular option is expected to be a mini-valet, from GBP39.
