Visteon has said it is supplying its latest infotainment system and hybrid instrument cluster technology on the new Mahindra Marazzo, launched in September 2018. The Marazzo is described as ‘set to become one of Mahindra’s flagship models on the Indian market.’
Visteon’s infotainment system features include a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with haptics, CarPlay, Android Auto, voice-activated controls, native navigation, EcoSense to rank driving patterns, audio with emergency calling, Bluetooth and a host of other features to provide a best-in-class user experience.

The instrument cluster – also supplied by Visteon – is designed on a scalable platform to cater to multiple model variants. The high-end variant has a 4.2-inch TFT-based display and incorporates turn-by-turn navigation as well as personal and service reminders as some of the key intuitive features available to the driver.
The Marazzo’s cockpit electronics technologies are fully designed, developed and manufactured in India. The infotainment and instrument cluster were designed by Visteon’s technical centres in Chennai and Pune and will be manufactured in Chennai.
“We are proud to have contributed to the successful launch of the Marazzo,” said Matt Cole, senior vice president, product development. “With the launch of this vehicle, we have implemented many firsts for Visteon and in India. This is the first India production programme with haptics, the first DTS-certified product from Visteon and the first to be CarPlay-certified in India.”
Visteon is also supporting Mahindra with the introduction of embedded apps and Android Auto for the XUV 500.
