Vietnamese battery electric vehicle (BEV) manufacturer VinFast Auto announced that it delivered a record 27,649 vehicles in its domestic market in December 2025, resulting in full-year sales almost doubling to 175,099 units last year. The company accounted for close to one-third of total vehicle sales in the country in 2025, with the total market estimated to have exceeded 550,000 units, making Vietnam one of the fastest-growing BEV markets worldwide.
VinFast strengthened its model line-up last year with the addition of the Limo Green battery-powered MPV in August, which became the company’s best-selling model in the fourth quarter, with deliveries in December alone amounting to 10,981 units.

The compact VF3 remained the company’s best-selling model in Vietnam over the full year with 44,585 deliveries, followed by the VF5 with 43,913 units, the Limo Green with 27,127 units, the VF6 with 23,291 units, the Herio Green with 12,568 units and the VF7 with 9,653 units. The company sells the larger VF8 and VF9 models, and makes e-scooters and battery-powered buses.
VinFast has also expanded its nationwide aftersales network to 400 outlets and has over 150,000 charging points across 34 provinces and cities in the country. The company also launched its ‘Boundless Drive for a Green Future’ campaign last year, offering incentives such as zero-down-payment financing, discounts of between 6% to 10% on popular models, and free charging at V-Green stations until June 2027.

Separate data show VinFast delivered a further 11,000 BEVs in Indonesia last year, while sales in India are understood to have exceeded 1,000 units, after it began deliveries in August.
