VinFast, Vietnam’s EV maker, has officially launched its brand in the Middle East with an event on Bluewaters Island in Dubai where it presented a range of smart, eco-friendly mobility solutions.
The launch marks a pivotal point in VinFast’s global expansion efforts, emphasising its “commitment to providing sustainable and green transportation solutions in the region”.

On the same day as the brand introduction, VinFast inaugurated its first dealership in the UAE, in partnership with Al Tayer Motors.
The downtown Dubai facility covers over 1,000m2 and features a modern, luxurious design with an integrated service workshop, allowing customers to experience VinFast’s smart electric vehicle lineup, including the VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9 models.
VinFast’s electric vehicles are claimed to feature “modern design, advanced technology, and impressive performance”, with the promise to offer new driving experiences to customers in the UAE and the broader Middle East.
In October, VinFast signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Charge&Go to facilitate the installation of a public charging network in the UAE, further solidifying its commitment to the region’s sustainable mobility.
The company has plans to open additional dealerships across the Middle East, including in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain, later this year.
The VinFast VF 8 model is anticipated to be priced beginning at $47,500 for the Eco trim and $51,500 for the Plus trim in the Middle Eastern market.

“We are proud to partner with Gulf nations in the electrification revolution, offering smart and powerful electric vehicles with exceptional warranties, while gradually realizing our expansion plan in the Middle East and globally.”
VinFast has presence in markets such as the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia, with the Middle East now a key focus as the region advances electric vehicle policies.
It has entered partnership agreements with top dealers, including Al Tayer Motors (UAE), Al Mana Holdings (Qatar), and Bahwan Automobiles & Trading (Oman).
In July 2024, VinFast launched its first outlets in the Philippines, in Metro Manila’s prime locations. These outlets offer a range of battery-powered SUVs imported from Vietnam.
