Motherson and Valeo have signed an MoU integrating lighting systems with surface finishes.
Valeo’s lighting systems will be integrated with Motherson’s new cabin interior modules and surfaces.
Instrument panels, door panels, centre consoles and other interior trims will be completely redesigned using the new technologies.
The MoU sets the framework for the collaboration between Motherson and Valeo to create new solutions for interior lighting.
Valeo notes by combining interior surfaces and lighting solutions, the partnership will create new functionalities and give the materials extra properties.
Motherson is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of interior and exterior automotive components. The company, through its operating subsidiaries, specialises in the development and manufacture of visibility systems and integrated modules such as cockpits and door panels, as well as front and rear bumper modules.
