Visteon
Corporation has announced a contract between its European operations and Toyota
Europe to supply interior, electrical and fuel-related components for the French-built
Toyota Yaris which went into production in January.

Visteon is supplying Toyota for the first time with around 40 plastic interior
trim and climate control components developed and manufactured in Gondecourt
and Bellignat, France.

Visteon also engineered and developed the Yaris’ security electronics
at its technical engineering centre in Cologne, Germany. The system is manufactured
in Cadiz, Spain.

Visteon already supplies Toyota North America with security electronics.

In another company "first", Visteon is supplying Toyota with fuel
systems components manufactured in Alba, Hungary.
