Details of the agreements will not be released until members have had an opportunity to discuss the deals at local meetings to be held soon, the steelworkers union reportedly said in a statement.
The agreements cover two plants in Tennessee and one each in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
The prior contracts with the Bridgestone Corp. units Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire and BFS Diversified Products expired in April 2003, Reuters noted.
