Tenneco Automotive has formed a joint venture with Thai exhaust system manufacturer
Yarnapund Co and the new company, Walker Exhaust Thailand Co., will supply systems
for the Isuzu I190 platform, a light pickup truck due to go into production next
year, AutoAsia Online said.

Walker Exhaust Thailand will be located at an existing Yarnapund facility in Bangkok
and will assemble exhaust systems using parts both manufactured locally by Yarnapund
and imported from Tenneco Automotive factories outside Thailand, AutoAsia Online
added.

AutoAsia Online said that Tenneco already works with Yarnapund under a licensing
agreement to produce exhaust systems for the GM T600 platform (Opel Zafira minivan)
manufactured in Thailand.
