The 135,000-square-foot factory is located in Shorter, Alabama, 30 miles east of the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing plant in Montgomery. HCSA will provide front-end modules and heating and air conditioning systems to Hyundai for its 2005 Sonata and 2006 Santa Fe models.
The $US28 million facility is expected to employ approximately 150 workers by 2006.
