General Motors is to recall nearly 200,000 Saturn Ion models in the United States and Canada to fix front lights and turn signals, according to Reuters.

The daytime running lights, which automatically operate during the day, and the front turn signals on the small Saturn car could fail due to a loss of contact between the light bulb and the socket, GM reportedly said.

The recall includes 178,798 Ions in the United States and 18,513 in Canada, a total of 197,311, GM spokesman Alan Adler told the news agency.

GM was aware of one crash that may have been related to the faulty lights, but no one was injured in the incident, Adler told Reuters.
