Pioneer North America has named Tateki Ueda president of Pioneer Industrial Components, its US manufacturing subsidiary for car audio products, based in Springboro, Ohio.
Ueda will report to Kaz Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Pioneer North America.

Ueda has more than 30 years experience with Pioneer in Japan, Mexico and Thailand, most recently serving as managing director of the company’s manufacturing operation in Thailand.
He will oversee manufacturing facilities for automotive audio and entertainment products supplied to vehicle makers and the aftermarket.
