Metaldyne ships a machined and assembled steel wheel hub to The Timken Company which assembles the hub and bearing unit and ships the assembly to Continental Teves where it is joined to a Metaldyne-made knuckle and sent on to Ford as a rear brake corner assembly.


Metaldyne also assembles the wheel bolts and performs validation testing of the components at its technical centre in Plymouth, Michigan.
