Ford will recall 43,459 Lincoln Continental sedans to recalibrate air bags that can go off on their own, federal regulators said on Friday, according to Reuters.

The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the problem affected 1999 and 2000 model year Continentals and the air bag sensors in the vehicles could be triggered by road debris, such as gravel, hitting the underside of the car, the news agency said.
According to Reuters, NHTSA also said General Motors will recall 44,653 midsize Chevrolet TrailBlazer, GMC Envoy and Oldsmobile Bravada SUVs built between July and September 2002 to replace a brake pipe that could fracture.
Separately, Reuters reported, Kia had two recalls involving 7,710 Sedona minivans – one to fix a faulty seat part, while the other involves a programming error in the anti-lock brake system.
