Lear’s Bourbon, Indiana, plant is to close by the end of the year, Associated Press (AP) reported.
The plant employs approximately 450 people and produces injection-moulded interior trim and door panels, Lear spokeswoman Andrea Puchalsky told AP.

Lear, based in Southfield, Michigan, is restructuring by cutting 6,500 jobs through closing or consolidating 21 plants and the company expects the plan to be 85% complete by the end of the year, Puchalsky told AP.
