Former Volvo Cars North America president Vic Doolan has joined the board of Sonic Automotive, one of the largest automotive retailers in the United States operating 186 franchises and 39 collision repair centres.
Doolan retired in March after three years heading Volvo in the US
He was previously executive director of Ford’s Premier Automotive Group following a 23-year career with BMW North America where he rose to president.
