The sporty model would use the supercharged 4.2-litre V8 currently residing under the bonnet of the Jaguar S-type R, the report said.
The platform, based on that shared by the S-type and Lincoln LS, would also have been updated and stiffened by then, lessening the current T-bird’s scuttle shake and poor handling, the website said, adding that a mild exterior rework and more luxurious interior were also planned.
