Officially spun off from Ford on Wednesday (5/7/00), the company, which boasts a workforce totalling 81,000, registered sales in 1999 of $19.4 billion.

The company, which has more than $17 billion in business with Ford and has clocked up new business worth $1.4 billion this year, wants to increase its percentage of non-Ford business from its current 12% to 20% by the year 2002.
