Edict’s service provides electronic commerce capabilities targeted to Honda’s small and medium suppliers and supports all the business document requirements of Honda, including forecasting, ordering, shipping, and bar code labelling. Edict’s Web EDI service offers suppliers an alternative to proprietary systems developed for larger companies.

Mike Bevis, President of Edict Systems, said: “We are pleased to have been chosen by Honda to be an approved Internet-based solution to provide these services to their suppliers. Our Web EDI solution increases productivity and saves time and money for both manufacturers and suppliers. We have developed this user-friendly system to EDI-enable small and medium suppliers who are not equipped to undertake the expense involved in traditional EDI systems.”
