According to Delphi Customer Director for Volkswagen Wolfgang Engelmann: “This order, with a total revenue of $US135 million, means that Delphi has now gained additional responsibility for another important area of supply at Europe’s largest vehicle manufacturer.”
Delphi supplies ECUs and security sub-systems to the majority of European and US vehicle manufacturers. These products are characterized by their especially low weight, optimised design and simple installation.
“Delphi is excited at being able to expand its business relationships with Volkswagen,” said Engelmann. “We will do our utmost to foster this excellent cooperation with Europe’s market leader.”
