Delphi Corporation on Wednesday said it has won a contract worth about $US750 million to supply electrical and electronic distribution system components for the redesigned Mercedes-Benz C-Class scheduled for launch in 2007, Reuters reported.

Delphi reportedly said its Packard Electric division will assist Mercedes to design a customised system that incorporates flexible printed circuit technology and flexible flat cable.
According to Reuters, Delphi is also responsible for component management, in-line sequencing and delivery and reportedly said the contract was worth $US750 million over its lifetime.
