Continental Teves has been awarded another high-volume programme contract to supply Ford with brake and chassis systems.

The contract calls for Continental Teves to manage and deliver the complete brake system including front callipers, booster, park brake system, four-wheel anti-lock brakes (ABS), Brake Assist, and Electronic Brake Force Distribution, as well as the company’s Traction Control (TCS) and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) technology.
Continental Teves will be the system integrator for the complete brake system, the fourth such contract it has won from Ford.
The brake system will come from plants in Morganton and Asheville, North Carolina, Culpeper, Virginia and Silao, Mexico.
