Those who purchase an SRT vehicle after April 1 will receive the programme gratis – other SRT owners will have to pay $US300.
Chrysler is also now offering SRT certification to all dealers.
Approximately half are currently SRT-certified. To reach the standard, dealerships are required to purchase special tools, complete special service training for their personnel, and stock service parts, performance upgrades and accessories – as well as stock the sporty SRT vehicle moel lines, of course.
