BorgWarner has announced that it anticipates third quarter earnings in the range of $.70 to $.75 per share with continued strong cash flow and margins. Production cuts recently announced by its largest customer are not anticipated to have much impact in the quarter beyond previous expectations.
“BorgWarner’s fundamental strengths remain unchanged,” said John F. Fiedler, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “Given our financial strength, technology and global customer base, we believe that we can manage effectively through periods of uncertainty. We continue to win new business around the world because we provide solutions that create cleaner, more efficient yet comfortable cars and trucks.”
