The 11th annual Auto Interiors Show, claimed to be the largest and most important annual industry event in the world dedicated exclusively to interiors professionals, will be held on May 19-20 at the Cobo Conference Centre in Detroit.
Last year more than 2,500 attended the show to see the latest in vehicle interior products, components and technologies. Over 150 suppliers will be exhibiting materials, services, components and modules at this year’s show. Exhibitors include DuPont Automotive, Flow Robotics Systems, Naugahyde Division of Uniroyal, Standard Rubber Products, Sunnex, and United Paint & Chemical Corp.
An Auto Interiors panel consisting of senior interior designers from Ford, GM and DaimlerChrysler will take place on May 19. Speakers include Ford’s Marek Reichman, director of design for interior strategy, and GM’s Dave Rand, executive director of advanced design. Each speaker will make a presentation on where they see their companies going in terms of interior design, engineering, styling and strategy.
The Auto Interiors Conference Programme, The Future of Auto Interiors – A 360-Degree View, has brought leading interiors developers from OEMs, research firms, Tier 1 and key technology companies together.
