He was previously assistant to the general manager of the automotive planning division at Yazaki Japan. He also served as an assistant to the general manager of the Toyota business unit in Japan. In his new role, Onishi is responsible for the overall management of all programme support to Japanese automakers in the Americas. This includes sales, engineering development, customer plant support and product quality, cost, and delivery activity.


Bob Crumley has been named executive vice president of technology, engineering, and advanced development. Crumley is responsible for all central R & D, EDS, electronics and instrumentation engineering and technology activities of YNA and for ensuring these resources are appropriately focused on the most critical priorities for competitiveness, development and growth. He also has responsibility for the product management and marketing functions. In addition, Crumley chairs YNA’s product and business strategy committee.


Prior to joining Yazaki North America in 2005, Crumley was CEO of SY Systems Technology America.


Bryan Jinnett was named executive vice president, operations & quality. He will also chair the company’s quality directors council. Jinnett is responsible for the development of a competitive, high quality network of wire harness production locations. He is also responsible for overseeing the development and adoption of best practices across the company with a focus on those processes, products and services that dramatically impact customer satisfaction and competitive position. Jinnett brings a strong quality management background to his new role, having previously held executive positions in quality at YNA, Bosch and JCI.
