Williams Controls says it has secured its largest ever single order from a Russian commercial manufacturer worth US$700,000 in new sales.
The electronic throttle controls operation is declining to name the Russian company, but adds shipments to its Russian customers will be the highest in its history.

First production orders have also been won from an unnamed Turkish commercial vehicle manufacturer.
“As tightening international emissions standards drive demand for the company’s products we are pleased with the results of our global strategy implemented six years ago,” said Williams Controls president and CEO Patrick Cavanagh.
Headquartered in the US city of Portland, Williams Controls employs more than 300 people worldwide. It has production facilities in Portland, Suzhou, China, and Pune, India.
