Volkswagen is planning to adopt five-year life model life cycles in the US.
According to Edmunds.com, Marc Trahan, Volkswagen Group of America vice president of quality and service, said it would help “keep the models fresh and attractive”.
The new life cycle is expected to begin with the redesigned Jetta and Passat to be launched in 2017 and 2018.
