The downturn in the US market has affected a tyre supplier.
Cooper Tyre & Rubber Company said it had reduced production in its North American facilities during the second quarter to counter decreased demand and projected shortages of some raw materials.
“These production curtailments during the second quarter will cost in the estimated range of US$12m to $14m, the company said.
