TRW Automotive Holdings subsidiary TRW Integrated Chassis Systems has completed the purchase of part of Delphi Corporation's North American brake component machining and module assembly assets, including production inventory, for approximately $US40m.
TRW Automotive Holdings subsidiary TRW Integrated Chassis Systems has completed the purchase of part of Delphi Corporation’s North American brake component machining and module assembly assets, including production inventory, for approximately $US40m.
The supplier has also leased part of Delphi’s former brake manufacturing facility in Saginaw, Michigan, and commenced employment there.
As part of the purchase deal, TRW took over supplying General Motors with parts, predominantly braking modules, formerly supplied by Delphi from the facility.
