Tenneco is to supply technologies for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray with emission control components, including electrical valves for exhaust system sound tuning.

The valves work in concert with the vehicle’s driver modes, opening and closing to control the Corvette’s exhaust sound as it switches between a fuel-saving four-cylinder mode and an eight-cylinder mode.
