Sales of Hyundai’s Sonata are projected to hit a record high in the US this year having sold 175,436 units in the first nine months this year.
Hyundai’s share of the US mid-size car market has expanded to almost 12% from 6.6% in 2006 thanks to strong sales of the Sonata which is produced locally in Alabama.
