Nissan Americas has announced senior management changes in purchasing and planning  effective from 1 April.

Catherine Perez, currently vice president, purchasing, Renault-Nissan purchasing organisation (RNPO) is named vice president, corporate planning and programme management office (PMO). She will report to Scott Becker, senior vice president, administration & finance, Nissan Americas. Perez will be responsible for the PMO as well as management of overseas programmes and corporate planning for the company’s operations in the US, Mexico and other countries.

Rebecca Vest, currently director, powertrain purchasing, RNPO, is replacing Perez. In her new role, she will report to Bill Krueger, senior vice president, manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain management and total customer satisfaction. Vest will oversee Nissan’s purchasing activities for manufacturing operations in the US and Mexico.

Eric Noziere has been named general manager, corporate planning-Canada and Brazil. Noziere will continue to report to Becker and focus on corporate planning in Canada and Brazil in a newly created executive role.

“This set of management appointments enables Nissan to sharpen its focus on growth and development in Canada and Brazil, while preserving stability and business continuity across our entire Americas organisation,” said chairman Carlos Tavares.
