Along with the Nashville expansion, Denso also recently invested around US$1.6m to expand its Logistics Michigan (DLMI) warehouse in Belleville.

The investment represents the addition of 40,902 square feet and ten new jobs. DLMI opened its doors in 2007 to coordinate the distribution of products from various countries, such as Japan, Spain, Hungary and Thailand, to a range of Denso’s North American customers.

With the addition of DLNT, Denso will have six warehouses in North America.

The Michigan and Tennessee warehouse news is part of Denso’s expansion plan to invest nearly US$1bn in North America, with more than US$750m in the US.
