Chinese manufacturers Changfeng Motor Group, BYD Auto, Geely International, China America Cooperative Automotive/ZXNA (Chamco) and Li Shi Guang Ming Auto Design will appear at the 2008 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, organisers have announced today.

“We are very excited to welcome these Chinese companies to Detroit,” said Carl Galeana, senior co-chairman for the NAIAS 2008. “With so much interest surrounding their products, we expect the thousands of industry executives and international media who attend our show will be eager to learn more about these companies first hand.”
Changfeng Motor Group and Geely International Corporation are making return visits to Detroit while BYD Auto, Chamco and Li Shi Guang Ming will be appearing for the first time.
The show’s press preview will be from Sunday, 13 January to Tuesday 15 January, the industry preview will be on 16 and 17 January, the annual black-tie charity preview on Friday evening, 18 January, and the public will finally be admitted from Saturday 19 January to Sunday 27 January.
