Cast-metal automotive component maker Intermet has signed an exclusive supplier agreement with Metaldyne to provide the majority of their cast parts requirements through to the end of 2007.

Metaldyne produces of engine, driveline, and chassis products.

The castings will be produced by Intermet facilities at their Columbus, Georgia, foundry and the New River foundry in Radford, Virginia.
