In some vehicles, there is a possibility that the anchor bolt for the rear, left-side passenger seatbelt buckle (directly behind the driver’s seat) does not have sufficient strength. Lexus has received one report of this condition, the automaker’s US unit said in a statement.
Lexus will mail owners of the involved vehicles a special service campaign notification beginning in late January or early February, and dealers will replace the anchor bolt at no charge to owners.
