Kongsberg Automotive Holding has opened a North American technical centre in Michigan today (27 October).
The 41,000 square foot centre includes facilities for design, 3D modeling, product benchmarking, environmental testing, impact testing and durability testing for KA’s products.

The company said that the new location is “providing advanced engineering services in the field of interior systems, driveline products, actuation devices and fluid transfer components.”
The centre will have more then 106 employees.
“This new location is an important part of KA’s growth strategy offering regional support to our key customers here in North America,” said CEO Hans Peter Havdal.
