Chrysler group’s Jeep brand on Thursday (23 February) said it was the first US domestic automotive brand to hit the 2m fan mark on Facebook, outpacing the next closest domestic brand by about 700,000.

“On behalf of the entire brand team, I would like to extend a personal thank you to our consumers – and literally millions of fans – for their continued loyalty and support,” said Jeep president and CEO Mike Manley in a statement.
