The appointments follow the resignation of Gary Ruff. He joined Intermet in 1999 and became chairman and CEO in 2004, and was responsible for the company’s reorganisation under Chapter 11 protection completed last November.
In a statement West said, “Gary Ruff is a highly respected technical expert and has guided Intermet through some demanding times. We appreciate his dedication and the leadership he has shown through his years of service and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
