Hyundai Motors has announced a recall of 205,233 2007-08 models of Santa Fe and Veracruz SUVs in the US due to a fault in the driver side airbags that may not deploy during a crash.
Hyundai said on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHSTA) website, electrical parts responsible for the deploying the airbag may not work properly and cause the airbag to not deploy when a crash happens. However, the air-bag warning light on the instrument panel will illuminate.
