Production has started at Grammer’s new plant in Tupelo, Mississippi which began with suspended seats for Northern American trucks.
All production lines from the existing plant in Hudson, Wisconsin, have been relocated though Hudson will continue as a regional sales and engineering centre.

Grammer also has two large production sites in Mexico and another sales and engineering centre in Troy, Michigan and reckons it two divisions – seating systems and automotive – are now “excellent positioned in the NAFTA region and will be able to continue on their successful growth trajectory in the Northern American market”.
“The Northern American automotive and commercial vehicle market forms a key element of the Grammer Group’s growth strategy. Over the last few years, we have been able to grow at double-digit rates in the NAFTA region and, moving forward, we want to continue this positive trend,” said CEO Hartmut Müller.
