Of the 85 recipients, MANN+HUMMEL GmbH of Germany and Magee Rieter Automotive Systems of the United States are the only companies to receive Supplier of the Year honours every year since the award’s inception in 1992.


Among the winners was Visteon, spun off from Ford during the 1990s, as Delphi was spun off from GM.


Visteon supplies GM with multiple climate control products on the Saturn Vue, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon and HUMMER H2 and this is the second year it has received the award from GM.


Lear was presented the award for delivery of seating products. Lear supplies seating for 17 General Motors car platforms and 12 truck platforms.
