Ford plans to manufacture over 700,000 engines at its Lima Engine Plant in Ohio in 2015.

Around 200 new production jobs are being added at the plant for this purpose. Hiring for these positions started in 2014.  About 75% to 80% hiring for 2015 have been completed, while there are still “a number of open positions,” plant manager Mike Felix said.

Of the two engines that are manufactured at the Lima plant, one is a 2.7 litre EcoBoost unit, LimaOhio.com reported.
