- 34,706 units of the F-150 at Dearborn Truck (Michigan)
- 30,575 units of the F-150 at Claycomo/Kansas City (Missouri)
- 31,223 units of the F-Series Super Duty – i.e. F-250-F-550 – at Louisville (Kentucky)
The F-Series had a strong month in September, with US market sales of 69,651, a 16% year-on-year gain.
For the year to date, Ford has built 681,719 units of the F-Series (445,257 F-150s and 236,462 Super Duties). This compares to 720,582 made in the first nine months of 2014. That reflects the slow ramp up of the aluminium bodied model earlier in 2015, the company prefering to take its time rather than give into demands from dealers for faster manufacturing, which might have risked the quality of build.
